Vance Metal, in partnership with the Finger Lakes Railway, has designed and built the first cover for a 66' gondola rail car. This removable cover will allow FLRR customers to move freight, that can only be loaded into a open top car, without damage from the weather. With the prototype testing complete, plans are underway for the first production run of the new cover.
